A challenging ride towards mount Tamalpais and Muir Woods from the old Railroad Grade, this paths climbs 2500 feet on dirt trails, taking you through Redwood and Douglas Fir groves. There are some great views on this 38-mile ride. Or take this route to Muir Woods, not quite as far.
