The Mill Valley Market is at the center of town next to City Hall. The market is stocked with a fantastic selection of gourmet foods, produce, meats, baked goods, wine and liquor. The market boasts a great deli with unique salads, sandwiches, specialty seafood, Mexican items and baked goods all at reasonable prices.

Travelodge is not without fun and adventure. The San Francisco
Bay trail runs through acres of scenic sunny marshlands and wetlands.
There is a par course, playgrounds, playing fields and picnic tables
scattered along the trail. Head over to Old Mill Park if you want
to relax, take a walk, have a picnic or paint The park is open from
sunrise to sunset and provides a playground, rest rooms, barbecues
and picnic tables. The park is also the site of the first sawmill
in the area which was built in approximately 1836 by settler John
Reed who was awarded with the first Mexican land grant in Marin
and was granted almost 8,900 acres. Old Mill Park is also the site
of the weekend-long Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival each year in
September.
The Cascade Park has a small waterfall, a seasonal stream, and hiking trails. There are no picnic or rest room facilities.
Mill Valley is located at the base of Mt.Tamalpais and there is a vast network of trails traversing the mountain. For information about hiking on Mt. Tamalpais, call the Mt. Tamalpais State Park
Mill valley has ample means to entertain you and ensure that you have a great time. If you want to hear live blues or R& B music, head to Sweetwater Sweetwater features some of the finest blues and R & B talent in the country. For a game of pool and a beer, or perhaps to watch some sports on TV, head over to the Two AM Club For movies check out the Sequoia Theatre. This theatre sees much of its action in early October of each year during the Mill Valley Film Festival. For theater, check out the Marin Theatre Company, a local theatre company performing year-round.
